We are a family owned business and our workers have over 30 years of experience. As our business has grown over the past years, and is still growing, we continuously expand our services and scope of projects while still maintaining the quality of work and work ethics that are rare to our industry.
Our services provide various types of work such as roofing, local law 11, waterproofing, pointing, power washing, masonry work, interior and exterior restoration/renovations, to just name a few.
All of our projects, both Prime and subcontracts, have been very successful as we are known to strive to cater to our customer’s desires while being mindful of budget constraints and local laws. Local Law 196
LOCAL LAW 196 Local Law 196 Training Requirements Under Local Law 196, New York City now requires all workers within specified jobsites to meet new OSHA training requirements. To stay on the job, all affected construction and demolition workers must complete 40 hours of Site Safety Training (SST) and earn an SST Worker card by March 1, 2021. Who Is Affected by Local Law 196? If a worksite requires a Site Safety Plan, then its construction and demolition workers must meet Local Law 196 training requirements. You will need to earn an SST card if your jobsite has a designated Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager. You can check the DOB’s Site Safety Construction map to see if your jobsite requires an SST card. If the address of your jobsite is listed on the map, an SST card is required to enter the site. While the majority of workers will need an SST card, flag persons, general contractors and other positions do not need Site Safety Training. Local Law 106
LL106 of 2019: New Tenant Protection Plan Requirements Changes going into effect on November 10, 2020, include: Moving the Tenant Protection Plan from prior to approval to prior to permitting requirement. Requiring the registered design professional responsible for TPP issuance to be retained by the project’s general contractor (as opposed to the building owner) with few exceptions (refer to service notice) Mandating a statement signed by the permit holder that certifies the submitted TPP “coordinates with the scope of work intended.” In simple words, This Mean? Design applicants issuing plans for renovations and alterations in mixed-use and residential buildings will no longer be required to include tenant protection plan notes on their drawings or to sign and submit the TPP1 form. All that will be required for plan approval, starting November 10th will be a note on the drawing sets cover sheet that indicates a tenant protection plan must be submitted prior to permit issuance. DOB Enforcement for not having the TPP at the construction site means the issue of violations to Contractors.
